    Welcome to Task Force Dingo!

We hope you’ve had a chance to look into our community and that TFD has shown enough potential that you wish to participate in one of our Arma mission night events. This small guide is here to help assist new and potential members with a one stop shop for exactly what responsibilities and obligations there are in order to join in our community events.

Now we do recognise that communities are a two way street and so this guide will also cover what TFD will provide for you to ensure that everyone participating has the smoothest, immersive and fun experience possible in Arma.

    Responsibilities/Obligations:
In order to participate with TFD you should:
    · Have a legitimate and working copy of Arma 3*
    · Be responsible for downloading our TFD Mod set and ensuring it is kept up to date
    · Have a working microphone and Teamspeak 3 installed
    · Apply to our Arma 3 Units page
    · Agree to abide by our Rules and Behaviours
    · Come to our events with the right tactical mindset
    · Always feel free to participate in community discussions – remember a community is only as strong as its members

    In return TFD will:
    · Provide a welcoming community environment
    · Host regularly weekly events as smoothly as possible
    · Keep you ‘in the loop’ about upcoming changes in addition to seeking your feedback about those changes
    · Do our utmost to ensure that your time with us is enjoyable as possible

Fairly New Guys (FNG’s) and potential new comers:
Here at TFD we don’t believe in having lengthy applications and interview processes and as such do not have an official joining process beyond applying to our Arma 3 units page. The reason we ask for your application here is to keep a track of how many participants we have so that our mission designers can build missions for an appropriate number of players.

Once you’ve applied please feel free to sign up to our forums here you can join in on our discussions with the rest of the community. As we do get a lot of applications from our Units page it’s always nice to hear from someone directly so don’t be shy and come say hi; whether on the forums or our Teamspeak server.

To start with you’ll be given a FNG ‘rank’ in our Arma 3 units page. This is just to help us identify who is new to our community so that you can be provided with any support needed in your first few missions with us. Once you’ve participated in 2 official TFD mission night events and we don’t see any glaring issues with that participation you will be relegated to a full TFD member status. Becoming a member doesn’t offer any special entitlements or provide any privilege it is simply to allow others in our community to know who regularly attends our missions.

We hope this covers all aspects that any new or potentially interested participants might be concerned about however if you have any further questions or queries please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.

*TFD does not explicitly state that you must own copies of the Arma 3 DLC’s including the Apex expansion however we do frequently make use of the content contained within those DLC’s and as such if you do not own copies you may be either limited in role/vehicle selection or in the case of certain Apex content unable to play at all during that given event.

*TFD will always do its utmost to ensure that our mission nights and events go off without any reasonable delay however due to the nature of Arma, modding and server hosting we cannot always guarantee that our events won’t encounter technical or otherwise unforeseen circumstances that could delay or hamper an event. We simply ask for your patience and understanding if and when these unfortunate circumstances arise.

      Rules, Behaviour, Expectations and You

At Task Force Dingo(TFD) we aim to provide a welcoming, fun and enjoyable tactical Arma experience and community. In order to do so we have established a set of rules and etiquette that we expect all TFD members to abide by and follow.

As always with rules there are consequences if a person fails to adhere to the expected levels of behaviour. While there are no set ban time frames ultimately the administrator response will reflect...

      Who we are?
Founded in June 2014, Task Force Dingo is a small but diverse group of people who come collectively to play Arma. Like many other communities we are like-minded players who wish to experience a certain type of game-play above what is normally seen in most games. We strive to play in a serious and tactical manner whilst still retaining that sense of fun within the game.
While many of us enjoy simply playing the game, some of us enjoy other challenges...
